cmux is a native macOS terminal with a built in multiplexer based on libghostty, the engine behind the Ghostty terminal.

It's made for running AI coding agents like Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode and Gemini CLI in parallel, each in its own pane.

A sidebar of vertical tabs shows what each workspace is doing, and cmux nudges you with pane rings, badges and native macOS notifications when an agent needs you. A built-in browser pane even lets agents click around without leaving the terminal.
