LXTerminal is a lightweight terminal emulator for LXDE, built on VTE and GTK.

It gives you the basics without much overhead: multiple tabs, a familiar desktop window, and very few dependencies. LXTerminal is also desktop-independent, and its terminal instances share a single process to keep memory use lower.

It is a simple terminal for Linux users who want a simple tabbed terminal and do not need a heavier feature set.
