Terminology is an EFL terminal emulator for Linux, BSD, and UNIX that stays close to xterm while adding richer graphical features.
It supports inline images and video, local file previews, clickable paths and URLs, tabs, split panes, themes, and optional OpenGL rendering. Scrollback stays in RAM and is compressed on the fly.
It also includes themes, color controls, RAM based scrollback, and optional OpenGL rendering.
