Terminal Apps over SSH

An SSH app runs on somebody else's machine. Nothing is installed: you point an SSH client at a hostname and the program draws itself in your terminal, using the client already on your system.

What gets served this way ranges from shops and chat servers to multiplayer games, generative art, personal home pages and status boards. Many are built on frameworks such as Charm's Wish, which puts a TUI behind an SSH server and handles keys, sessions and terminal size for each visitor. Clients, key management and config tools for the protocol itself are in SSH.

Below is a list of terminal apps and services you can connect to over SSH.
