zonetimeline-tui is a terminal tool for comparing time zones and finding shared working hours across distributed teams.
It classifies each zone as core, shoulder or off-hours and ranks shared windows as ideal, feasible or fallback. It also supports custom work hours, DST-aware IANA zones and overnight windows.
Availability ribbons and a braille histogram show overlap across zones, with a movable cursor for checking local times. A world map plots configured zones against the day-night boundary alongside search, sorting timezones and utilizing saved configs for further customization.
Software engineers, platform and infrastructure engineers, SREs and anyone who uses the terminal for work can use zonetimeline-tui to visually check the timezone of other countries which can be useful to check for working-hour overlaps and schedule around that across regions around the world.
