quien is a TUI and CLI domain intelligence toolkit for checking websites, domains and tech stack information in the terminal.
It uses the newer RDAP protocol (Registration Data Access Protocol) for checking domain information and supports WHOIS as a fallback option.
In the TUI, quien highlights reverse DNS information, abuse contacts, ASN data, MX, DMARC, DKIM, BIMI records, alongside showing HTTP headers, TLS and detected Core Web Vitals. If you're doing extra domain work and need automation, quien outputs JSON so you can use them within your own scripts when needed.
This tool works well for developers, sysadmins, security analysts, and domain owners who need a better whois with RDAP support when investigating website infrastructure and domains in the terminal.
