A Git worktree manager with a CLI, TUI, config, and safety checks.

gwm is a TUI Git worktree manager that also functions as a CLI in the terminal.

It manages worktrees across projects with native Git and GitHub integration and covers the basic operations such as: create, list, remove, prune, sync, and review tasks. It also outputs JSON, has status-line support, repository configs, lifecycle hooks and has workspace mode for all your worktrees.

The useful part is turning branch switching into named, separate working directories with safety checks. You can set branch and path rules, run setup hooks, preview removals, and recover from mistaken deletes with history and undo operations.

gwm is useful for developers who review PRs, switch between branches or multiple issues, or have several branches open all at once. It works best for developers and teams that already use Git worktrees, but need a dedicated lightweight terminal tool to navigate through them.
