papr is a terminal research workspace for discovering, reading, organising and writing academic papers.
It builds a daily paper feed from your research keywords and searches arXiv by title, author, category, abstract or DOI (Digital Object Identifier) link. Papers can be downloaded from the terminal into a local library, grouped into collections, added to a reading queue and annotated with Markdown notes.
The built-in PDF viewer displays papers directly in supported terminals using Kitty or Sixel. This tool also includes LaTeX and Typst project workspaces with background compilation, PDF previews, build diagnostics and Vim-style editing.
Researchers, students and those who are used to using the terminal can use papr for notes, paper discovery and manuscript writing together in one terminal workspace.
