An improved ping(8) with network graph visualizations and diagnostics.

Review this script before executing in your terminal.

sping is a network terminal tool that is an upgraded version of ping(8) that is used to investigate network connectivity issues or latency problems.
It can measure round-trip latency, jitter or intermittent packet loss and can check for gateway and WAN reachability. This tool is able to monitor multiple destinations, tracks connection degradation and can auto recover dropped connection scenarios.
When using sping, you can run IPv4 or IPv6 native ICMP probes and consumes stable NDJSON output from scripts or batch jobs. Unlike the standard ping(8), it comes with graph visualizations and specifies the reason for dropped connections as it measures the latency. All these features in this tool are available on all platforms which is missing in the standard ping(8) command.
This tool is useful towards network engineers, system administrators, backend developers and home-lab users who need a cross-platform alternative to the standard ping(8) command and to investigate very unstable connections across multiple operating systems.
