sqlmux is a TUI database client with split panes and edit safeguards with a Vim-style SQL editor.
The default layout is a 2-split pane with the open databases on the left and the results on the right or in separate tabs and it can connect to PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQLite, SQL Server and Redis connections in a shared tree. It has a read-only mode for dry-runs, which is useful for querying results before running them for real.
Additionally, it has auto-suggestions as you type and after executing them, it can suggest tables, columns and functions in the editor where table edits are staged until saving. It has a powerful command palette which displays a view of every quick action you can do to and can run Quick SQL statements from anywhere in the program.
This tool is useful to engineers, system administrators, database, backend developers and DevOps engineers who want an all-in-one terminal database client with strong permissions and safeguards built-in with a rich interface to access multiple DBs in the the terminal.
