clin is a TUI note manager inspired by Obsidian, built for handling markdown vaults in the terminal with Obsidian compatibility.
It comes with many note management features such as browsing, search, pinning, sort by date and markdown previews. It has a graph view that shows a visualization of your notes as a connected graph of wikilinks and has a visual content file tree view with folders at the top level of your notes.
clin also features an infinite 2D canvas for drawing free-form or ASCII diagrams and uses Git for version control and backups. It natively supports on-demand per-note encryption which can be accessed via the command palette for navigation, which allows you to access the built-in editor, canvas, and theme selector.
This tool is targeted towards Obsidian power users, developers or students who need a Obsidian-compatible note vault manager which works without needing the desktop app.
