ffsend is a cross-platform command-line (CLI) Firefox Send client for uploading and downloading files or directories through encrypted share links.
It encrypts files privately on the client and supports password-protection for private sending and it and can inspect or delete remote files. It can upload files up to 1GB and also creates archives, extracts downloads and generates shortened links or QR codes.
ffsend has advanced upload options for files with certain limits such as expiry times and download limits. It can preview the history of links that have been uploaded showing their information in the terminal which tells you the number of downloads the link has.
Typically developers, system administrators and users who need to send large files privately across the internet can use ffsend for temporary file sharing without opening a browser.
