grut is an all-in-one terminal file explorer that has deep integration of Git, GitHub and code previews in the terminal.
This tool has the context of everything related to a given Git project which you can do file search and retrieve commit information on each file in the Git panel. Any selected file will bring its git history, branch and its stage status. GitHub integration allows you to find any issue, PR and associated file with its last changed commit.
grut also includes all the standard git operations with a visual commit graph alongside worktrees support. It optionally comes with AI chat powered by GitHub Copilot which can read / write into files, tool use for git and search / reference issues and PRs.
