network-doctor is a terminal network diagnostic tool that tests connectivity layers and explains where a connection breaks.
It checks interfaces, direct and proxy internet access, system and public DNS, TCP, path MTU, TLS, HTTP and protocol banners. Additionally, it also checks independent probe branches and keeps one failure from hiding working paths.
If a connection fails between layers, network-doctor has troubleshooting such as a watch mode, JSON reports, interface binding, LAN scans and concurrent traceroute, mtr, ping or curl jobs that provide supporting evidence for the network failure.
Support engineers, administrators, sysadmins and developers can use network-doctor for local, VPN, server or service reachability in the terminal.
