zsv is a high-performance CSV parser and command-line toolkit for querying, converting and inspecting tabular data.
It selects columns, counts rows, runs SQL against CSV and compares tables. It also converts CSV to JSON or SQLite, and handles delimited or fixed-width input. Compared with xan, zsv leans more towards SQL and can be embedded in other languages.
Its SIMD fast parser and parallel mode target high-throughput processing, while the default parser handles unusual quoting and embedded newlines. The sheet viewer adds support for filtering functionality and pivot tables.
This tool is more useful towards data engineers, analysts, data scientists and developers for complex data pipelines, low-memory environments, data processing with high performance requirements and SQL-based CSV related work.
