ttl is a terminal network diagnostic tool for tracing routes and monitoring latency and packet loss.
It sends ICMP, UDP or TCP probes to one or more destinations and updates each hop's statistics in a live table. ttl can inspect individual hops for network ownership, routing changes and signs of load balancing without needing to use extra commands.
This tool allows you to view the detailed hop information once you selected a hop. It can show all the traceroute info, ASN, IP and latency info and it can check the largest packet size a path can carry without fragmentation and flags source-port rewrites by NAT devices. Traces can be saved, replayed and compared to see how routes and timings changed between runs.
ttl is targeted towards users who are network engineers, system administrators and DevOps users who use ttl latency statistics to investigate unstable routes, packet loss and MTU problems.
