vy is a command-line explorer for querying JSON and YAML files in the terminal.
It navigates nested data and supports search with regular expressions (RegEx) and opens selected subtrees for closer inspection. It also runs jaq queries inline and lets you browse their results upon execution.
Developers and engineers who are used to jnv, fx, and jless can use vy as an alternative that can be used as a CLI for composability, and can be used to inspect more than just JSON and can parse and query structured files.
